I'm wondering what some of you guys have done with your wood grain. It looks gorgeous, but I'm trying to update the look of my interior a bit. I was thinking about covering it in some black alacantra-like material. Maybe painting it? What have some of you guys done? Any other interior mods would be awesome as well!
Thanks,
-JK

I like my wood trim, but my headliner is sagging, and i am thinking of replacing it with a different color when i replace it this summer.

Jon K did that. You can ask him about it.
I really like the charcoal (aka ebony -- though it's not really ebony) finish on the wood. Looks classy but not dated, IMHO.

There was somebody on Bf.c that did carbon fiber, it looked good with a black interior.

you may already know about people can turn any black smooth plastic into wood grain. This guy will fo your whole interior for around $300 - $400.

I was gonna do it but my wife (she drives the bmw i drive an old ute) hates wood grain. At least with custom wood grain you get a car which is a little different from stock, i was thinking around the OBC and radio turn to WG, behind the door handles, electric window panel, headlight and foglight panels.
