I usually don't post this kind of stuff, but found it quite interesting. Hope you enjoy it.

There's an hour left and people with money to burn. That thing should belong in a museum somewhere.
It would be nice to drive around in the fall and spring, there's no a/c, and I would hate to sweat up those hurricane cloth seats...;)

.. stickers are orderable. Hard tell if it's the real thing unless you can look closely.
We have a several out here in the PNW that show up on track days.

Who signed the sunvisor? I first thought it was the M builder, like the E34 M5s have, but one of them has a number next to his name like a driver would sign, another has 2004 next to his.

This is from his ad- "Sun Visor signed by 'Factory BMW drivers': Bill Auberlen, Justin Marks, and 'Turner Motorsport' driver Nic Jonsson"
Beautiful car!I had no idea they were *that* limited in production!! ;)

That paintwork was standard on all M3 lightweights. I actually kind of like it, very unique.
With only 120 of these cars existing world wide (it was only sold in the USA), one with low miles in great condition is a rare find indeed.

At first I thought this was the same LTW that had appeared at a few Bay Area meets, but the one I was thinking of doesn't have the flags. I'm surprized that even 2 have surfaced around here. They must be more rare than the M540i.
