Running a Sachs Sport kit on my '95 525. Love it, but wish the car sat a bit lower. Searched threads but found little info on different thickness spring seats. I am assumming the stock ones are 9mm and the 3mm ones will lower the car an additional 6mm? Is this the case and if so please indicate where i can purchase. Thanks.

correct. you can purchase at your local bmw stealership or at www.bmaautoparts.com (call them). The part numbers are floating around somewhere.

thanks to all who posted on this. I have dealt with BMA. they are a good resource. FYI..they have the best price on the sachs kit.

6mm is almost 1/4 of an inch. Glocati. Im on the 9mm pads...sadly. I forgot about them when I ordered/installed the kit.

Great resource yes. But I have given up on the Sachs kit. Tried to pick one up in Oct. Not available till nov, Then not till Jan . now maybe mid march. So I went with eibach/konis. Should have it all by the end of the week.

thanks for the info. too much work to swap them out at this point to gain a 1/4 inch drop.
