Vibrating crank-shaft

I just changed my crank shaft center bearing and the flexible joint as well. As soon as I drove off I felt a slight vibration that subsides after a while at almost 60-70 km/h. Note that my gearbox has been making grinding noises when really cold for a while now and I thought it was the center bearing and it is not apparently. The gearbox grinds intermitantly but REALLY growls when cold.
What should I do about the vibration and is it caused by the faulty transmission or what?

Was the center bearing preloaded when the drive shaft was installed in the car?

Also, were OEM parts used? The cheap knockoff guibos are known to not have any reinforcement underneath all of that rubber -- kinda makes the driveshaft swing around.
