View Full Version : Heater Control Valve/s replacement
Does anyone have any info on how to do this? Where are they located?
The car is only blowing cold air through the drivers side vents and hot through the passenger side. Its a RHD car.

Dave, you can read bruno's writeup on how to fix, or else it's time to purchase a new unit.
They are on the left hand side of the car, near the brake booster. It's pretty easy to remove and replace. I think 3 coolant hoses go to the heater valves, not to sure, the heater pump is underneath it. I'm running without one at the moment.

While your on this topic, is a faulty heater control valve a possible cause of an occasional "gurgling" sound coming from the from dash area typically after turning the car off?
