My 95 530ia with 174k has previously had a strange little slip that seems to occur only when going slowly, coasting, then as I start to accelerate it is almost as if I were in Neutral. Then within a second or two it will catch. This happens once maybe twicw a month.
Recently I have noticed it doing this more frequently and there is a pushing feel occasionally at a stop sign were it is as if it goes to neutral then back into gear at a slightly higher rpm.
I changed the fluid and filter about 50k ago and now i am thinking of doing that again and adding this Lucas product. Has anyone had experience with this product?
