Apparently this is an IQ test given during job interviews in Japan. Shogun could probly weigh in here and tell me how true that may be.

The rules are:
Only the adults can move the boat.
The mother cannot be with the boys, without the dad being there.
Father cannot be with the girls without the mother.
The thief cannot be left alone with anyone but the cop.

Sounds like the old "Quest", "Mensa" one that we had in school about the fox, hen, something, and fisherman. Only this one contains more numbers in a group. Can't tell for sure though, since I can't read Japanese.

Sounds like they need more boats!

Oh its not that hard just have to go back and forth with different combinations that dont break the rules.
