Aux Fan Resistor Installation Question

Got my new aux fan resistor from BMA and noticed one leg longer than the other. Is this indicative of installation direction?

For your peace of mind, you can test resistance with a meter in both directons, should get the same reading.

The polarity doesn't matter. One wire is longer since the resistor mounts almost vertical and both wires are fed from below. I installed mine with the longer lead on top.
