::.. Hooking up Basslink

Has anyone hooked up an Infinity Basslink X10 to the stock amp? I have an opportunity to get one for under $150 CAD. Not going to mess around with replacing the stock amp or running another one.

Anyone wired one up? Straight forward? Hints? Diagrams?

look around on the net and you will find a step by step for hooking it to the line level inputs, i was dissapointed with the basslink i installed for a customer

A little digging turns up this... I wonder if it's relevant...

AMP..........................|||........BASSLINK
1) LR + yellow.............|||........LR + green 3)
2) LC + blue/red..........|||........LF + white 7)
6) RR - brown (skinny)..|||........RR - violet/black 2)
7) RC - blue/brown.......|||........RF - grey/black 6)
9) LR - brown.............|||........LR - green/black 4)
10) LC - blue/brown....|||........LF - white/black 8)
13) RR + blue.............|||........RR + violet 1)
14 RC + blue/white......|||........RF+ grey 5)

The numbers for the AMP ie 1) are engraved in very tiny numbers on the amp's connector

LR = Left Rear LC = Left Center (BMWs term) LF = Left Front (Basslink's term) basically, LC (or RC) = LF (or RF) for this install the numbers for the Basslink follow the Basslink instructions for speaker level wire connections
