Are the e34 95 540i 6spd and the M540i 6spd the same car or different.

I seen a 540i with a M5 kit and rims and a 540i that looks just like the automatic one but it was a 6spd. Are these cars the same exept the body or they are totally different cars (ex. sus,gearbox,etc...)

M540i sport is a special car. They used all the extra M parts on these cars and made a monster in limited numbers.
