Well, will it?
I'm talking specifically about the OE "Reverse RDS" unit, made by Blaupunkt.

I would think so too, unless there's something different about European radio frequencies. That's why I'm askin'. :)

Yup, that's the same as here. Our frequencies all go to one decimal place, and the last digit is always odd. Examples:
107.1
or
99.9
Never:
107.2
or
100
AM always has no decimal places, and is in multiples of ten, like:
640
or
780
Same for you?
It was, perhaps, a stupid question. I know you can travel with an FM radio and get stuff all over the world. But with the electronic tuning and other goodies in a car radio I wanted to be sure it would be alright.

nope....
same thing... (thats coming from a HAM)
my concern would be more hooking it into the car then anything else

Connections might be a pain, but I expected that. As long as it will work...
Thanks guys.

i think so long as the blaupunkt stereo comes with its own loom, you should be able to plug it into the BMW loom in the car.
i had to use an ISO adapter to connect the BMW loom to the loom on my aftermarket Alpine head unit, easy job and only a few GB££
