I'm getting a clunky metallic noise from the right side of my car when I go over bumps at slow-to-medium speeds. It sounds like a fat guy sitting on an old sofa (clunk-squink), with a definite metallic sound.
Any ideas what it is?
My suspension and thrust arms are reasonably new.

Thanks! What's involved in replacing those (costs/time)?

$15-$20 each. get the front end of the car up. 17mm nuts, 16mm open end wrench to hold the ball joint from moving around on you. 17mm closed end wrench to break the nut at the strut housing loose and tighten when you put the new one on. 30mins
Thanks! What's involved in replacing those (costs/time)?
