Anyone know when BMW started to fit Isofix fittings for use with babies' car seats...?

I dont know but i would sure like to find out. Lets hope someone might know.

BMW Cooper Thames Ditton had a 2001 ('Y' reg) 520i automatic estate for sale which I enquired after today. I asked if the car had Isofix and the blokey looked it up on his terminal and it was not standard at that time. Certainly the new 5 has them - so late 2003 forwards ?

Anyone else looked into this further ? Would prefer an older 5 series really, but would like ISOFIX.
