Hello,
I Need Some Help. Started My 2000 528 Yesterday To Wash It. Left It Running While Washing It. Temp. Outside Was Around Freezing. Dried The Car, Turned It Off And The Blower Fans Won't Shut Off. Even After An Hour Of Running They Won't Shut Down. I Disconnected The Battery And Reconnected It And It Still Won't
Shut Off. Any Suggestions???

Sounds like the final stage resistor. Lucky you found an E39 owner on here, there aren't many.
