Why is it that an oil pan bolt that's torqued to say...300 ft.lbs. (just kidding) and has a gasket between the bolt head and the pan, can leak, yet when you back that same bolt out to change the oil, andi it's just barely hanging there by about 1-1/2 threads, it appears that not a single drip of oil will get past the threads??? I'm always amazed about this phenomena everytime I change the oil.

for the same reason why the car will do something werid till it's in the shop....
