When you convert your car to a standalone engine management system and are tuning with large injectors and such, do yourself a favor. Before battling with "lumpy idle" and "miss fire" conditions, swap in new plugs. I basically spent 2 days trying to tune my idle perfect and get my AFR stable... I got frustrated, swapped stock injectors back in, stock ecu back in, rising rate FPR back in, and STILL had bad idle and missfire. Now I am thinking, "WTF Jon way to f- up a perfectly good car..." GF calls and tells me not to worry and I am probably looking over something real simple. I said hm, let's replace the plugs. They were pretty charcoal'd up and one was a little wet with oil. Put new plugs in... missfire at speed and idle are perfect... I think I was tuning my car around a shitty spark plug the ENTIRE time. F-
