I know for a fact that the gauge cluster was swapped on my car, but don't know from where. It's got the fuel gauge going up to 90 litres. The OBC and a complete fillup only get me about ~75 litres.

Can someone tell me where the cluster could have come from?

Standard E32 have 90 liter tanks. You mean only the fuel gauge has been changed in the cluster?

im pretty sure the 540i has 80 litre tank. if that isnt enough to fill up. my dad has an old 351 with the 140 litre bathurst tank but damn its sweet!
