permanent fix for the infamous seat twist

I had previously tried the fixes for the dreaded seat twist problem, but every so often it rears its ugly head from time to time. Are there specific parts that one can replace to permanently fix this problem?? I would like to do this before I send my seats to get refinished. Thanks in advance.

Seems to work and I have not experiance any re twisting after a good clip and re cap.

same here, they will eventually shrink but it takes years if done properly, A peminent fix would be to weld the thing up.
