Just got my Throwing Stars from Germany. Mounted up Falken FK-451 in 235/45-17 front and 255/40-17 rear. The wheels are Euro 8s and 9s.

Fender gap should close slightly when I install the M-tech springs and the thinner spring pad. Rears need attention first, the rear shocks are toast and springs original. I don't want to go too low here in Idaho.

Staggered, me likes. No doubt those set you back a bit, but worth every penny.

I bought these wheels on eBay Germany. Cost plus shipping was about $1200 total. Tires another 660. I picked up a TS 17" clone from a Bekkers closeout for about $50 shipped and it is a spare. Looks very close to the original but they "stars" only go in one direction. So if I have a flat, I have a 50-50 chance of it at least looking right going down the road. And, when I need to replace tires, I'll only need one front because I'll swap in the spare.

I also bought a set of M-tech springs, a couple of later model "flag" style mirrors in diamondshwartz and an auto-dimming mirror. All shipped in 4 boxes with the wheels.

For translation of German, use Babelfish Alta Vista on the web. Save what you are looking at on German eBay to your site and you will be able to translate most of the commands. Then you send the seller a message asking if he ships to USA and how much. Believe me, I've seen a lot of good deals over there and this is not the first set of wheels I have bought this way. Ok, enough of my secrets.

carbayautoberlin search that as a username. They have tons of BMW stuff and will ship to the US. He even offered to call me to talk about details and what they had in stock. I didn't really compare prices, but they have lots of hard to find stuff you can't get here in the US. I haven't ordered from them yet either, but they seem to do a lot of business on the German site with good feedback.
