very good to excellent bass

91 535i 206k i finally got the bass i was hoping for for a pittance. one jl audio 10 inch speaker-one alpine amp-their cheapest one- about 100 bucks-and an $49 speaker enclosure. the bass comes through loud AND clear-no holes cut in rear deck or anything crazy like that.p.s. i do have the optional refrigerator in the center back armrest-that may contribute to the bass getting through-will try to get some pix:D finally something inexpensive on this beast that actually works

What did you use to connect the sub amp to? Does the fridge provide ventialtion through to the passenger compartment perhaps? :) nick

i did not do the install it was 200 bucks -when i told the installer what i wanted he told me he was going to cut a 8 or 10 inch hole in my rear deck but after he hooked it up and played it we both quickly realized cutting was not necessary.-i think it passes through the refrgerator:)

haha that fridge is pimp. is it a huge drain on the battery when the cars off, or does it just not function??

the fridge works great but will run if car is off so i have to remember to turn it off holds quite a bit also-2 full size bottles of chardonnay or 5or 6 cans of diet pepsi lol:D :D
