Brake fluid flush on AST cars

The Bentley presents the AST cars as impossible to flush by the owner. Is this true?
I have flushed my E28 and E30 in the past with no issues ( but no AST either ).
I use the BavAuto branded pump to do the services.
The E34 net site makes no mention of AST vs. non-AST...

you haven't replaced and components upstream of the asc controller.. in other words if its a normal flush its not a problem

or you can single handedly bleed them with a pressure bleeder, make sure you dont suck air or you will have an all day project.
