air Bag warning light lighted up

I have a 95 e34 and last night the air bag warning light was on. Tried switching the car and restarted it and it was still on.

Can I just erase the fault and there is something more to that??

Pull the Airbag out of the steering wheel...

Hold against chest....

Touch the leads against a 12volt source.. try diff patterns and the like you will get it reset...

Otherwise.. take it to the dealer.. and unhook the battery next time you work on the car....
