90 535i no heat or air

bought a blower motor off ebay got through the firewall and couldnt go any further was like i might have to pull the engine to get this b iatch in any help please?

First of all, buy a bentley manual. It outlines the process quite clearly.

So you removed the expansion tank and stuff behind that and you have the blower exposed now?

well i did but im fixing to jump on it again

after i got through the firewall i couldnt figure how to get the metal cover off the blower motor then if i ever do get it off it looks like i could never get it out without tearing the thing up yankink it out. then when i put the new one in looks impossible without taking the intake or whatever the damn thing is offf looks like the whole damn motor to get it in.

no help anymore well im selling this nice looking fast needs control arm have it bought off ebay will put it on 265k auto red im in oklahoma will take 2000 cash 918 348 0705

i find your posts hard to read but if you are trying to replace the blower for the heater etc there is a removeable cover in the engine compartment in front of the air intakes but you have to remove the expansion tank for the cooling sytem first I think somebody has a link for a downloadeable bentley it will help you a lot i hope this helps you out of your jam good luck

thanks alex dont want to buy a bentley manual though already replaced control arm fan clutch radiator few tires bought a blower motor bought a chip diddnt work id just like to get about 2000 for it but i got alot of cash in it. got 2 150 new chips for it ,and it needs a 179 so ive just had about all i want of this 90 535i would like to get some pictures of it to post.

try writing a little more legibly and somebody might actually want to help you out.

blower cover #6 in this (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HD13&mospid=47408&btnr=64_0185&hg=64&fg=35) pic is held on by a plastic strap that needs to be unclipped then it should pop right off
