Throttle cable

How can I lube the throttle cable? I think I need to lube it because I can sometimes hear screetching noise while pressing the pedal. And I cannot adjust smoothly the throttle while going in the first gear in the 900-1200rpm range. If I press a little, car jerks forward, release slows down abruptly.

If your car is like an e28 m30, the injectors might shut down when you release the pedal in such a way as to make smooth low speed driving difficult.
