I read Mayle on one of the boxes in the pic. But alarm bells started ringing when I read "*** THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL PHOTO". And I find no mention of the name of the manufacturer. Can we say dodgy? I knew you could.

I disagree, just be careful. I purchased genuine Mahle oil filters off Ebay, no problem. Have boiught used parts as well with no problem.

I don't mean to hijack the thread but I was wondering if it would be safe to buy an FCP Groton coolant level sensor off of ebay. FCP sells many on Ebay for the e34.

from prevoius threads and searches I know FCP is really trashy but could they really mess up a coolant sensor?
