I got pulled in Marion,SC last friday in my 04 golf tdi.
The trooper's first words were " I didn't know diesels
had a fast". Still got the ticket but it was amusing.

I have an office in florence which I am at on fridays from 7 am until noon. I leave there and go to my Myrtle Beach from 2pm until 7pm.
There was a wreck on 501 at the waccamaw bridge which shut down all traffic until 5pm.
I took the Aynor cutoff ( 20 miles extra) and was running 69 mph ( that is what the ticket says after using 25 years of sales/legal experience to negotiate) when
the valentine 1 went wild.
Interestingly, I almost always drive my 89 525 and when I do get stopped I hear
"Wow, this is that old?"

That or they get mad if you pass a 59 international towing a hay wagon.
