The shift lever that I put in corresponds to an E35 M3 lever. Part number 25 111 222 955. It is about 1/2 to 5/8" longer than the stock lever from the bottom of the ball to the pivit.
No pictures, it is already in the car. You will need the lever, two yellow washers/bushings, new cup and clip. Of course, that is what is in the shift kits sold on ebay. You only have to do the one clip and two yellow bushings on the bottom to do the job. If you have the exhaust and/or drive shaft off for any reason, it is much easier to complete all the bushings.
