CD player is cutting in and out....

It cuts out from the left to right channel over rough pavent and bumps but it's fine at stops. It started acting up a couple of months ago. I've checked the wiring at the CD player and everything appears to be fine.

Anyone have any ideas where I should look next?

Check the cd changer tensioner... you see... usually there is a tensioner that must be set to whichever angle you mount it... BMW changer are supposed to be mounted horizontally... but if you mount it vertically... it will skip over bumps.

and cuts out between the left and right channels (speakers). On top of that it's mounted horizontially under the package shelf on the drivers side.
