Valve Adjustment on 535i M30????HELP! Questions?

• How often should valve adj be done on 1990 535i. I had head gasket replaced about 25K miles ago. Is that usually done when head gasket is replaced?

• Are there symptoms that valve adj needs to be done?

• How much can I expect to pay a good indy shop to do valve adj??

• Car is running great...should I worry? I've had car for about last 60K miles. Other than head gasket, nothing major done.

I generally do mine every 10 or so. If you haven't replaced the oil spray bar bolts with the new loctite-ed bolts, it's a good time to do it, or at least check that the bolts are tight (only about 10ft-lbs, I think the spec is ~80 in-lbs?).
