Possibly looking for a 540I transmission

Hey guys, I am possibly looking for a dreat deal on a transmission for an M60... Let me know if anyone can throw me one.

car is a 1994 BMW 540I Auto, but will take whichever - 5-spd/6-spd/Auto - either one works.

I am still debating whether to convert my 540i to 6 speed. So it is a possibility I may have one available. I have a very clean 66k Niksil on the stand waiting for a compression test.

We do. Came from an E39, so it has the bellhousing bosses for M62 CPSes, and will fit all E32/E34/E38/E39. About 40,000 miles.

Think Brett wants a grand for it -- I posted pics and info in the swap section a few weeks back. Not light, either, so factor in a few hundred to get it freighted to you.
