Volt drop vs fuel pressure drop/stumble. See link from Racetronics.
Could this be the reason for the stumble problem that we have had over the years with our '89 525a?
Have observed stumble and coincident fuel pressure drop and test light dim with my little McGuyver test rig. Also reported on this board was Onboard Computer in test mode showing 9v coincident with stumbles.
Early on we had problem of b+ lead to F pump backing out of big wiring harness connector under the dash. Might this intermittent connection with probable arcing have created high resistance connection that affects b+ at the fuel pump? Problem reacts positively to clean up of engine/chassis grounds and use of Stabilant to maximize connections.
