i'm a photographer (and book designer) so i tend to pay attention to most of the images that roll past my eyeballs as i move through the real world, and also on computer screens, billboards, newspapers, etc. i think this image is potent and memorable. contrary to what someone else mentioned, i do *not* think it is too dark -- i think it is masterfully lit and composed, and i adore the serene purity of the vw's silver shape against the darkness and mystery of the rest of the picture. chapeau!

does this meant that there will be a picture of this quality to be seen every month? if so, can't wait.

You have a very interesting sky, and a great location. Like Bruce, I am a photographer too, I think there is a conflict between subjects (car and cloud). compositionally speaking i think there is too much spece to the left of the Jetta. If you could crop a little off the left, i realize you're cloud would be comprimised but it would draw a little bit more attention to the Jetta by putting it in the left thirds.

Well... the wheels are black powder coats BBS CH's... cant really see detail in them in any picture.
