This is my wife's new car (no, not the buick):

When I left this morning, it was still in it's parking space and the 525i was gone. Good thing it only cost 4x more than our bimmer, or I would be feeling some buyer's remorse.
Part of the problem is that she isn't very comfortable driving a stick, and it has the Z51 suspension so it's not a very forgiving ride on Michigan roads.
We bought it to replace her '03 Land Rover Discovery which must have been built on Friday by a barrelful of drunken monkeys. The quality was just terrible, and I'm comparing it to my '94 BMW.
Either way, we still love our 525i.

Man, I wish my wife would do something horrible to me like that...... leave me a hot looking vette to drive ! You poor bastard. How do you live with a woman like that?
Now, if she had taken the BMW and left you with just the Buick, then you'd have a case. Since you HAVE to drive a Corvette today, all I can say is:
"Suck it up, and be a man!"

Actually, today I drove the Buick.
Before I am removed from the board on suspicion of narcotic drug use and in general for being a complete idiot, hear me out. My father and I carpool to work and when we take his car (the Buick), he pays for gas. But most importantly, there is construction on the upper levels of my parking garage and if I drive my wife’s car, I will be forced into the high-turnover, door-ding, ninth-ring of you-know-where lower level.
Man, I wish my wife would do something horrible to me like that...... leave me a hot looking vette to drive! . . . How do you live with a woman like that?[/SIZE]
It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s gotta do it.

I’m only 25 and still have most of my hair. More likely: first the corvette, then the bankruptcy proceedings . . . then the toupee.
Besides, I think I’m more afraid she’s going to find someone with a nicer e34.

How can you mess up a golf? It looks like a cheese wedge now, doesn't it.
Pretty soon we'll have to have sloping foreheads just to sit in the car without slamming against the windshield.

My brother drives an Aztec:

It is worse than ugly but I love the roll out cargo tray in the rear.
I probably won't tell him about this thread.

Notice you didn't deny the girlfriend.

I do not have a girlfriend nor do I desire one. I believe marriage is a lasting covenant (you know . . . the whole "until death" part).
Besides, the Bible addresses the concept plainly:
Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters" :)

Even though I am not religious, I too share the same view. Very honorable. BTW there are a vew nice new cars out there. Mostly 1/10th scale nitro R/C.
