Squeeky Wheel

The steering wheel on my e34 squeeks when comming off center. I assume it is the horn contact dragging. Is there a way to safely lube it without taking the weel off? Or do I need to remove the wheel and lube it up with dielectric grease?

It would probably be best to remove the wheel and clean and grease it.

Not too hard. Just remember to disconnect the battery... or it's off to SRS warning land.
