Just wondering if it is me or does working on the car seem more appealing in the colder months?

Hells no, summer is better when there is nicer weather to drive and experience the fruits of your labor.

Summer is better, outside with a breeze. The winter is OK with a heated garage floor, but its still damp outside, the car is wet and so on.

Once, I get forst bite on my fingers after I replaced my heater blower. Summer is much easier to work on the car.

I think you need to put down the crack pipe rob =)
Maybe it comes from spending your entire life upside down?

Winter is definately better for us guys in Oz.
Summer is too hot to be stuck in the cockpit trying to fix something.

Winter or summer in australia or winter or summer in the rest of the world?
I live in north-eastern US and I shudder even at the idea of working on my car (getting under my car?) in cold weather...
very strange question!

Summer is far too hot to work on the car. I save all my major work for winter.
Its a great 23C (74F) outside at the moment. Perfect.

Definately summer!!
Cold mornings and nights create cold fingers... Cold fingers don't work!!
Atleast in summer, you can hide from the blistering Aussie sun (shed or shade-cloth thingie)... In winter, unless you have a gas turbine/wood heater, you are gonna be cold.

exactly lol, it feels like 1000 degrees working in the garage in summer and thats with a tiled roof :(
i figured there would be mostly summer responses but we don't have snow or that ******** and i think it is not often that the temp will get below 10 degrees (50 F) here. yay for the sub-tropics except that my air con is broken .... that was a looooooooong summer!
