slightly ot: need help with e38 steering noise:

Hello guys. My uncle recently bought a 740il and is now having a problem. After driving the car for about 15- 20 minutes, the steering creeks very loudly every time you turn the wheel or apply the brakes. I don't think the problem is the thrust arms because I had my cousin turn the wheel and I felt the arms, no vibration. I am guessing it's some kind of bushing, (even sounds like something just needs to be greased, but these car don't have grease fittings) but I'm not 100% sure, so BMW's guru's, I'm at your mercy.
