Is this what my car is supposed to drive like?! New Lemforder thrust arms with 750 bushes, Flennor tie rods, center link, sway links, along with new 3mm upper strut pads. Probably 7 hours or so total, it took far longer because I pulled the struts and springs to replace the spring pads. Overall it wasn't bad, jacking up the assembly really helped the thrust arm bj to pop. Re-torquing the TA was a real bitch, I had to grind down a wrench to get it onto the 21mm nut. Overall it went very smoothly, let's hope Yves at BMA is right and the Flennor stuff is the equivalent of Lemforder, because I really don't want to do it again.

Along with new dogbones, sway bar links, and Racing King subframe bushings in back, the car is smooth and tight. The 3mm spring pads made a noticable difference in the front ride height, the front gap now matches the back. Perfect for what I want. Lots of time, too much money, but damn does it drive nice!:D

Nice work. I have a bad suspision that my recently acquired E34 is going to need much of that work in the near future. Good chance to get to know the inner workings of the car though!

Matt

So glad you came to your senses and stopped that crazy talk about selling your car. :)

Yeah, I'll snap a few tomorrow. It's been like Seattle around here recently, so the car is filthy. I could at least take one to show the after of the subtle drop in front.

It's by no means a big difference, but the 1/4" or so is noticable, probably more so in person. By no means "dropped", but a bit more balanced looking.
