Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of putting 730i/735i e32 m30 engine into an e34 530i/730i?? Thanks

I'd love to see a e34 730i.

But seriously, what are you wanting to do? Swap a m30 to replace a m60? I'm not sure how much work is involved, but if you're wanting to replace a m30 with a m30, it should be fairly straight forward.

lookin to take an 730i m30 motor (automatic) and drop into my 530i m30 (manual), I have been told it should drop in no probs, but just wondering if anyone had any experience. It is possible I may need the sump off 530i engine though?? Thanks P.S. Thats a nice shiny 525i

Assuming we're talking about swapping the 6 into the 6, and not an M60B30 V8, the only differences are in the intake manifold, a/c compressor, and potentially the exhaust manifolds and power steering pump. Everything should swap over from the E34 variant, though.

That's a straight swap. Everything will bolt right up.

edit: not sure about the sump differences
