The dealer insisted that my 530iT (3/93 build) did not require the trans fluid to be changed. (Even though they had previously done it as part of an Inspection II).

And why are we discussing "Lifetime" again when we all have concluded that no fluids are lifetime? What's next? Lifetime engine oil?

literally - I ran a bottle of Jectron or Ventil Sauber, forget which right now, in the last tank. Checked my oil last night and it's stinky. Getting changed tomorrow!
