Optima Battery

Anyone know if you can fit an optima battery ???? Optima's website says no application

Yes you can... just match which side your terminals are... you know... positive on the right side... and that's all you have to match on the optima... pricy battery though...otherwise a good one.

they gave me some bull crap excuse that the size of the battery is to different ...but tomorrow i'm going to get the dimensions of the battery and measure it out...just wanted some help from you guys if you'll have already had done this install in one of your personal vehicles yet that's all..

Somebody did... I don't think he post on this site... I remember about this... He bought a returned unit for dirt cheap... like $65... and he put it in his car. Because the battery can be put in any direction... it is possible to fit it. I remember that guy put it in sideway.

Orange top is right. I don't have one in my E34's but I do have it in my E30 M3. I had to do a bit of modification to the tie down but it works perfect. It even passes tech for drivers schools and autoxing.
