A warning.
So i finished everything up and was at the point were the car should be able to run full standalone. Well of coarse i get a little antsy and want to turn it over soon as everything is plugged up. So i turn the key the engine turns over and i see smoke, lots of it, coming from the ECU. A few choice words came to mind and I took the case off. I look at the ignition drivers and the are burned and half of them are cracked in half. Luckily that would be the easiest thing to fix. The ecu still works, i just don't have spark until I order some parts. I forgot to adjust the setting for dwell and what not and ran way to much current through the drivers and they fried. Of coarse the settings are right now, but the damage is done. Ill get the parts sometime this week and try again next weekend.
