Can I remote an M-tech spoiler?

I bought the car with the spoiler. I don't hate it and will probably keep it, but I'm just curious if removing it is a simple matter or not. I have a feeling that installation required drilling holes in the center of the trunk, but that's why I'm asking the question.

I know I had to drill holes into my trunk to install the spoiler. Remove the lining on the trunk door and look for screws holding the spoiler to the trunk.

If its a stock spoiler I believe it clamps to either side of the trunk lid and should easily be removable, if its drilled, dont even think of taking it off.

I tried to remove the air deflector from my sunroof and found the paint too damaged to leave it off. I would not be surprised if you find the same under the spoiler.
