You should be fine on 18s...those listed are damned cheap--it will be hard to find cheaper 18" wheels anywhere...just remember that you get what you pay for, and tires are gonna be quite pricey too...

the place seems legit enuf. i have16 inchers on my e-34 and that is as big as i would go because that is the way the car was designed. the 16's go on the m5 of our vintage. do not mess around with mother nature ,so to speak. btw i have 225 55 16 tires-about 100 each and bbs wheels.very very sharp;)

e34 m5's come with 17" (tstar) or 18"(m-par) wheels.....

Replicas are always risky... softer, heavier and harder to balance.

I would buy local so you have somewhere to go back to when you have issues.

Yep, pretty much. I would abso****inlutely NOT buy those ones off eBay. They look nice but i'm sure are cheap quality and communication with the seller will be tough.

Tirerack at least has something you can go after if they fail to deliver or give you an inferior product. Plus, you can buy wheel and tire sets from them and have them balanced so that you can just throw the rims on when you get them. Remember you will be spending more per tire than per wheel, so keep that in mind when you are looking at overall budget.

The wheels on the car are arguably the most important safety feature it has to offer. Getting cheap or poor quality wheels is not going to help in emergency situations and may deplete other suspension parts as well.

try Roadfly I currently have a set of 17x8 Style 42 2pc BBS stock 2003 530i wheels on there for 1k. A great deal if you know how hard these are to find.
