and can someone tell me if i have to remove the glove compartment?

it's above the right kick panel speaker, you need to take that panel out to get the computer out, you may be able to leave the glovebox in but you can pull it out of the way in a minute or less

I know this is true for 535 models. I think Bentley manual provided various locations for various engine applications...

Mine is in the E box next to the ABS control unit

Mine is in the E-box too, but maybe 535's for UK were different to US
