Pete. You ask for someone to share their transmission computer unit because you suspect yours does not function properly. Question: what will you do if the fault that possibly damaged your transmission ECU damages the ECU of the person who shares with you? Will you buy that person new ECU if (s)he comed back and said "it worked before and now it does not?"

Computer is always the last thing to fix... they almost never fail 98% of the time.

i just need to test out another tcu before i start opening the pan. That way if the problem is not the tcu i can rule out that possibility.

You mean you want to test that 2% possibility? I know tranny enough to know that it is never the TCU.
