Since the addition of the 6x scope I realized I the need for a spotting scope. I got this one on sale at Big 5 sporting goods. I cant wait to try it

what do you plan to scope with that that you could hit with a russian 762 or 556 round???? you hunt with it??

that's a spotting scope, it saves you from a long walk to check out the holes in a long distance target, unless you are using birchwood casey shoot-n-see targets you most of the time can't see the holes at 100 yards or so, even through the scope, most spotting scopes are 30-40x or more

not very familiar with operating anything other than conventional type hunting firearms (canada) that only fire bout one at a time.....was kinda imagining scott sitting there with a buddy looking thru that thing telling him "too high" "too low" et cetera...like in that movie where those guys have to go back to vietnam to capture MIAs there, it had robert stack as the millionaire financier and patrick swayzee. thought it was used for make believe army man play.

when sighting in the scope it does help having a buddy looking through the scope and calling out where your shots are landing.
