silencing alam on locking/unlocking doors

I have a BMW 528i 1998. Would any kind soul out there know how to silence or disable alarm when the key is pressed to open or secure the car. Upon a key press, it produces two high pitch sounds before unlocking or locking the doors that wakes up neighborhood dogs.

Is there a way to mute that? Your replies are much apreciated!

On a '98 you can take it to the dealer and they can program it for silent operation
