Aftermarket tire pressure sensor? It's very hard to read, but the red bits on the left and right sides look like they say "Alarm." ???

OK all you "I've been ripped-off please help me ebay virgins" - look at his feedback. Are you sure you would want to buy a car from this guy?

extra control by the gauges might be a radar detector.....

K40, dealer installed, garbage radar detector.
Nat, I'm surprised at you, man. I'd estimate a good 30 or 40% of cars sold by dealerships during those years have this system in them...Maybe more in the E32s. JUNK -- how the heck is it going to detect a cop when the main unit is mounted at the bottom of the front bumper, pointing at the back of the car in front of you?

As Wmann said, the control by the gauges is an early radar detector. Probably new when the car was. It has ASC and heated seats, almost certain to have limited slip diff with that combo.
His problem with ebay is that he does not have a huge positive feedback number and may be a little immature with respect to his ebay dealings. If I were going to consider this car, I would try to go see it and make a deal on the car on the spot. His asking price is not outrageous in my opinion especially for the low miles, extra tires and equipment/apparent condition of the car. I would not sell my car for $8800 and it is not as nice.
On the other hand, I would not send the guy the $$$ and let him ship the car to me in Idaho or someplace. I'm not that confident in an ebay'er with a feedback of 19.
Has anyone notice the Bumpers? In the first photo with the hood up, it has M-Tech front bumper and the rest have regular front bumper, and lower cover looks like from a V8 cars, but it still have a M-tech rear.

I've never seen one, and didn't realize at first that the K40 was what was being questioned... My only dealings have been with V1's... gotta get me one of those. I remember you were talking about JohnTee's stealth install, got any pics?
