Alpine remote stopped working

I found the exact remote I currently have which stopped working.
What would be needed, if I bought this remote, to work with my alarm?

Any reprogramming by the dealer needed? HELP! :(

did you try replacing the battery in your's first?

check battery first. They need replacing periodically. Leather BMW manual case should have a booklet on how to reprogram a remote if you buy a new one. Should be no reproamming when replacing the battery. If not, check archives as there have been instructions posted here and Roadfly.

Last resort would be your dealer. They may photocopy instructions for you. If not, they would need to reprogram.
