A lot of people had been telling me to forget putting my 6.5" woofers in my 5.25" kick panels. Did it. Others told me i was an idiot for thinking 4" would fit in stock 2.5" area on my E34. Yeah its a triangular area and yeah its tight... but i work a mean dremel :)
had a run in with a fuse the other day. Apparently the +12v wire for my alpine monitor is some sort of plating that didnt take the solder very well and it pulled from the harness and shorted and popped a fuse I didn't know was in the back seat :( Thanks to scott h. for helping diagnose that one!

and last but not least... the 4" driver pic. No rattle. No distortion, no vibration. Its in by pressure with the assistance of that main screw which keeps it level and flush. It sounds AMAZING! The 6.5" are also in the kick panels but there is nothing to really show. I had just the MB Quart Q tweeters and the Q woofers and wasnt terribly impressed until i added the 4"! W0W
